"GO PLAY!" Debuts at Tachikawa's GREEN SPRINGS! A Weekend of Workshops and Animal Experiences for Families
The "GO PLAY!" event takes place over two days — June 27 and 28 — across the 2F district of GREEN SPRINGS.
Hours are 10:00–16:00 (scheduled).
The event is organized by Tachi-Hi Strategy Lab Co., Ltd., the company behind GREEN SPRINGS.
Conceived as a gathering of workshops and hands-on experiences for children, multiple exhibitors have come together for this weekend.
As the first-ever edition of the event, it's already drawing attention from Tachikawa families.
Traveling Bookstore "COW BOOKS" Comes to Tachikawa
One of the exhibitors is "Traveling COW BOOKS," a mobile bookstore.
They'll be selling a handpicked selection of used books from around the world, alongside original merchandise born from their work.
Picture books for families to enjoy together are also available.
For book-loving adults, it's also a chance to find that first special book for their child.

Make Your Own One-of-a-Kind Crayon
A workshop where you choose from around 40 colors and create a crayon in your favorite shape will also be on offer.

The "Secret of the Rainbow" Workshop to Nurture Non-Cognitive Skills
The Hirameaki Kids' Program "Secret of the Rainbow Workshop" is designed to foster non-cognitive abilities through feelings of "fun" and "I want to try it."
Parents and children can participate together, and adults can also pick up tips on how to engage with their children and what kinds of words to use.
It's a program packed with parenting insights through play.
Animal Experiences Are Here Too
A program where you can experience what it's like to work alongside the staff of "Joker Wan-Nyan Kindergarten" is also available.
This is a paid, hands-on experience working with real staff members.
