Craft Beer Festival Comes to Hachioji! 22 Breweries Gather Again at Tama Miraimesse This Summer

Last spring, an event brought 22 breweries together for the first time at Tama Miraimesse in Hachioji.
That festival, hailed as the largest craft beer gathering in the Tama region, is returning in the summer of 2026.
We can't wait to see who shows up this time.

Tama-Grown Beers All in One Place

"Tama Mirai Craft Beer Fest" is a craft beer festival held at Tokyo Tama Miraimesse.
At its inaugural event in April 2025, 22 breweries from across the Tama region and beyond participated.
Fifteen of those were from the Tama area alone — an impressive lineup that surprised many attendees.
Names like Shared Brewery from Hachioji, KUNITACHI BREWERY from Kunitachi, Ishikawa Brewery from Fussa, and VERTERE from Okutama were all there.
It was a gathering of distinct and characterful breweries.

Breweries from Kanagawa Prefecture and Tokyo's island territories also joined the event.
Having the chance to taste beer brewed on Tokyo's islands — right there in Hachioji — is an experience you can't easily find elsewhere.
That diversity of regional beers gathered in one place is exactly what makes this event special.

The Inaugural Event Was a Huge Success

The first edition, held in April 2025, ran for two days.
Entry to the venue was free, and the space was already packed with visitors from the moment it opened.
Outside on the lawn area, a simultaneous curry festival was drawing crowds as well.
Local beer lovers wandered from booth to booth, glasses in hand, taking their time.

Each brewery poured their flagship beers on tap, with styles ranging from IPAs and sours to wheat beers.
Food booths from local restaurants were also well-represented, making it easy to enjoy food and beer together.
A "Tokyo Islands Antenna Shop" booth made an appearance as well, and the pairing of island ingredients with craft beer was a hit.

Why Tama Miraimesse Is the Right Venue for Summer

Tokyo Tama Miraimesse is a Tokyo Metropolitan industrial exchange facility located at 3-19-2 Myojincho, Hachioji City.
It is approximately a 5-minute walk from JR Hachioji Station and about a 2-minute walk from the No. 3 exit of Keio Hachioji Station.
Because the event is held indoors, you can enjoy it without worrying about rain.

With a summer setting, cold craft beer is sure to taste even better than usual.
The success of the inaugural event has raised expectations that this edition will be even larger in scale.
As a platform for spreading Tama's craft beer culture, this venue is becoming an established institution.
