New Stores Keep Opening at LICOPA in Higashiyamato

It sits about an 11-minute walk from Tamagawa-josui Station on the Seibu Haijima Line, and a 9-minute walk from Sakurakaido Station on the Tama Monorail, with 903 parking spaces at the Maison building.
The second phase, the Terrace building, saw Starbucks Coffee open first on September 26, 2025, with all 11 stores opening sequentially since the fall.
All stores are expected to be open by spring 2026, making it a new commercial landmark for Higashiyamato.

Hair Salon Eleven Cut Opens in the Maison Building

On the second floor of the Maison building at LICOPA Higashiyamato, the hair salon "Eleven Cut Ricopa Higashiyamato" has opened.
The salon, equipped with facilities convenient for parents with small children, opened at the same time as the Maison building.
While there were already several hair salons around Higashiyamato-shi Station, the addition of a salon at this new commercial hub has expanded the beauty options available in the Sakuragaoka area.

Clinics Continue to Open in the Terrace Building

The Terrace building isn't just about restaurants and retail — medical clinics have been opening one after another.
The psychosomatic medicine clinic "Kokoro Clinic Sakuragaoka" opened on November 1, 2025, and "Shirakawa Naika Clinic", which covers internal medicine, cardiology, diabetes, and thyroid care, opened on February 2, 2026.
A pediatric clinic, "Nijiiro Kodomo to Minna no Clinic," is also scheduled to open in spring 2026.
A step that brings healthcare closer to daily life.
Meanwhile, search volume for "Prime Family Clinic Higashiyamato" has also been rising on Google Trends, but this is an existing clinic located in Shinbori, Higashiyamato, separate from the current wave of new openings at LICOPA Higashiyamato.
No official announcement explaining the rise in searches has been confirmed at this time.

Sakuragaoka's Everyday Life Is Changing

With the Maison building's grocery and daily-goods stores, plus the Terrace building's restaurants and clinics, it's becoming easier to handle shopping and doctor visits in one place, even in the Sakuragaoka area a bit removed from Higashiyamato-shi Station.
In addition to the 903 parking spaces at the Maison building, the Terrace building has its own separate parking area, which is reassuring for families arriving by car.
