June 28: "Nakamachi Challenge Festa 9th" at Machida Shibahiro! A Day to Enjoy with Local Businesses
"Nakamachi Challenge Festa" is a community participation festival hosted by the Nakamachi Branch of the Machida Hojinkai (Machida Business Association, a public interest incorporated association).
It is a regular event that brings together local businesses, shops, and sports clubs under one roof — and this year marks its 9th edition.
Held every June at Machida Shibahiro, it has become an established gathering place where residents of the area can connect in a relaxed atmosphere.

Plenty of Sports Experience Classes
One of the highlights of this event is the hands-on sports classes run by local professional sports clubs.
A futsal class by Pescadola Machida and a touch rugby class by AC Machida (Athletic Club Machida) are both scheduled.
Both are free to participate, but advance registration is required.

This is a rare opportunity to learn directly from professional coaches.
Even those with no sports experience are welcome to join.
Stage Performances, Food, and Free Consultations
The stage inside the venue will feature performances by local dance teams and choral groups.
Machida Girls' Choir and other locally active groups are scheduled to perform.
The food corner will have local restaurants serving lunch and light snacks.
If the weather is good, spending a relaxing time on the lawn would be a wonderful treat.
There will also be free consultation booths staffed by lawyers and tax accountants.
For those who have something they have been meaning to ask about, having a place to casually speak with an expert is surprisingly hard to find.

Getting to Machida Shibahiro
Machida Shibahiro is accessible from Machida Station on both the Odakyu Line and JR Yokohama Line.
- Approx. 6 minutes on foot from the north exit of Odakyu "Machida Station"
- Approx. 10 minutes on foot from the north exit of JR "Machida Station"
It is a conveniently located venue, easy to stop by while shopping.
Parking is limited (paid, limited spaces), and congestion is expected during the event. We recommend traveling by train or bus.
