FC Tokyo Clean Up the Streets of Fuchu, Chofu, and Kodaira — 4th Hometown Cleanup Action

Cleanup Activities Spanning Fuchu, Chofu, and Kodaira

One of the gathering points was in front of the Okunitama Shrine Great Torii Gate in Fuchu, while another was set up at an FC Tokyo monument in Kodaira.
In Chofu, additional cleanup spots were also established, allowing the event to cover all three hometown cities at once.

School Students, Parents, and Club Alumni Walking Together

What stood out this time was the diversity of participants.
Children enrolled in FC Tokyo's soccer school joined their parents, and former club players also took part — bringing together faces from across generations.
"Picking up litter while walking through town" sounds simple, but for the school students, it was a chance to take care of the very streets where they train.
For parents too, it was an opportunity to connect with the local community in a way that felt different from the usual routine.

The Bond Between FC Tokyo and Fuchu, Chofu, and Kodaira

FC Tokyo's hometown spans multiple cities across the Tama area, including Fuchu, Chofu, and Kodaira.
The club has a comprehensive partnership agreement with Kodaira, reflecting deep ties in areas such as sports promotion and local revitalization.
The Cleanup Action is one way those community bonds can be felt in everyday life.

Buzz on X (Formerly Twitter)

The event spread by word of mouth as participants and local residents shared posts on X (formerly Twitter).
Comments like "I saw FC Tokyo doing something in my neighborhood" and "My kid looked like they were having so much fun" showed the club's presence as one truly rooted in the community.
It may not have gone viral, but this kind of steady effort is what builds the feeling that "FC Tokyo is our club."

A Note to Residents of Fuchu, Chofu, and Kodaira

FC Tokyo's hometown activities reveal a side of the club that you can't always see from the stands.
Cleanup events like this one have been held every year through the 4th edition, and similar activities are likely to continue in the future.
Keep an eye on FC Tokyo's Hometown Activities page and their social media so you don't miss a chance to join.
If you live in Fuchu, Chofu, or Kodaira, why not come along next time?
